ISLAMABAD: Petition filed by Pervez Musharraf seeking return of his surety bonds valuing Rs 10 lakh each has been fixed for hearing in Supreme Court (SC) in Akbar Bugti murder case. A two members bench of SC comprising Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan and Justice Munib Akhtar will take up the matter for hearing on July 27. SC issued notice to Prosecutor General Balochistan and others. Pervez Musharraf had filed two surety bonds worth Rs 10 lakh each in Akbar Bugti murder case. The court had accepted his bail plea against surety bonds worth Rs 20 Lakh. In January 2016, ATC had acquitted Pervez Musharraf, former interior minister Aftab Ahmad Sherpao and other accused. Following his acquittal from the case Pervez Musharraf had filed petition seeking return of his surety bonds. Online
