ISLAMABAD: The cryptocurrency market remained on a downward slide on Sunday, with the market cap losing 0.5 percent to reach $1.24 trillion. As of 1030 hours GMT, Bitcoin, the world’s oldest and most valued cryptocurrency, inched down to $29,909 with an increase of 0.1 percent in the last 24 hours. The market capitalisation of the biggest crypto has reached $581.3 billion with this increase. Bitcoin has been 1.3 percent down in the past seven days. Similarly, Ether (ETH), the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, dived 0.6 percent to reach $1,875. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of ETH has reached $225.5 billion. ETH has been 2.8 percent down in the past seven days. TLTP
Ripple (XRP) price dipped by 4 percent to reach $0.740. The market capitalization of XRP stands at $38.8 billion with this decrease. XRP has gained 3 percent of its value during the last seven days.
However, Binance Coin (BNB) price decreased 0.1 percent to reach $242. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of BNB has reached $37.8 billion. BNB has shed 2.9 percent of its value during the last seven days.
However, Cardano (ADA) price rose 2.2 percent to reach $0.316. Its market capitalisation has reached $11 billion with this increase. ADA has lost 1.4 percent of its value in the past seven days.
Other popular altcoins including Litecoin (LTC) and Dogecoin (DOGE) landed in the negative as overall prices saw minor losses across the board. Internet Computer (ICP) emerged to be the biggest gainer, seeing a 24-hour jump of over 4.40 percent. TRON (TRX), on the other hand, turned out to be the biggest loser.
