Crack down against unregistered technical educational institutions across Punjab starts

LAHORE: Authorities have made a decision to close unregistered technical educational institutions across Punjab. Around 315 unregistered technical institutions of Punjab have been identified. The majority of technical and vocational educational institutions are working relevant to computer and technology. According to report, 52 unregistered technical educational institutions are operating in Lahore. 27 in Bahawalnagar, 15 in Bahawalpur, 16 in Gujranwala and Rawalpindi technical educational institutions are unregistered. 15 unregistered educational institutions are functioning in Khanewal.
Authorities said that registration with Punjab Skills Development is mandatory for technical educational institutions of Punjab. Online
According to the authorities, faculty, laboratories in technical educational institutions must comply with the licensing criteria.
All unregistered technical educational institutions have been issued orders to stop working immediately.
