WANA: Mobile, 3G & 4G services has been suspended in some areas of South Waziristan Lower and Upper Districts for the past several days, students and the business community are facing severe problems, So the federal government and military leadership should immediately restore 3G/4G and mobile service, The demand of the people of Waziristan.
In this regard, Noor Zaman Wazir, senior leader of ANP South Waziristan district, said that due to the suspension of mobile services, the communication link of different areas of the two districts of South Waziristan Lower and Upper has been cut off due to which the students, business community and ordinary citizens are facing serious problems and citizens head to the high mountains of Lower and Upper South Waziristan to contact their loved ones.
Regarding this, Shah Hussain Wazir, principal of Al-Qadar Public School, Tanai, said that he used to communicate with his friends and relatives regarding the admission of students in various educational institutions and however, since the network has been closed for a week, they are unaware of everything.
He said that when there is no internet in the area, mobile phones will not work, then who can settle in such an area, instead of providing facilities to the people, the government is withdrawing the facilities from them.
On the other hand, Ashraf Khan Mehsud, a shopkeeper from Makin area of Upper South Waziristan, said that there is no landline (PTCL) service in the area, the authorities have stopped the internet service in the name of peace and security and it is going to be Saturday that the mobile network has been shut down, He further said that many shopkeepers, including me, are facing severe difficulties in business transactions.
On the one hand, if there is no peace & unrest, on the other hand, one has to go to Razmak in North Waziristan to make a phone call, Earlier, internet supply has been stopped by the government in some areas of Lower and Upper South Waziristan for the past several months.
Rizwan Ullah Mehsud, a resident of Sararogha attached to the Department of Education, says that we were hoping for the restoration of 3G/4G and the government has closed the mobile network.
In this regard, Advocate Ajmal Wazir from Wana said and raised the question that in this modern World, where is the justice of not having mobile and internet facilities available for ordinary citizens?
He demanded that the federal government should immediately restore the mobile service and net service in Upper and Lower South Waziristan so that the disconnected people can be restored.
It should be noted that the issue of mobile service and 3G/4G services shutdown and restoration in South Waziristan Lower and Upper has been going on for the past 3 years and the facility of 3G & 4G has been closed for the past several months, while mobile networks have been closed in some areas of Waziristan for a week.
