Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore has extended interim bail of Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry in six arson and riots cases including Jinnah house May 9 incident. The six cases came up for hearing before Judge Ijaz Ahmad Buttar of ATC Lahore Tuesday. Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan reached court on expiry of their interim bail period. The court extended the interim bail of Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Fawad Chaudhry, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, Fawad Chaudhry, Asad Umar.
Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan are sisters of chairman PTI.
Advocate Mudassar Rana said in the arguments the accused have joined the investigation. The court should give order for the confirmation of interim bails of the accused persons. Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan and Asad Umar are not involved in any case.
