ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Finance has increased daily and traveling allowances of Federal government employees. According to issued notification by Finance Ministry, daily and traveling allowance of employees from grade 1 to 22 has been increased up to 50% which will be implemented from this year on 1st July. According to notification, daily allowance of grade 22 officer will be RS 7200, RS 6000 for grade 21, RS 4920 for grade 19 and 20, RS 3840 for grade 17 and 18, RS 2160 for grade 12 to 16 while daily allowance of grade 5 to 11 will be RS 1320. The notification has also been issued for increase in transport allowance for government employees. RS 7.50 for car and RS 3.75 per km for motorcycle have been increased in transport allowance. The travelling allowance has been increased to Rs 15 per km in case of use of private car and Rs 6 per km in case of use of motorcycle.
