ISLAMABAD: Ministry of parliamentary affairs has issued formal notification about dissolution of National Assembly (NA). President Arif Alvi has signed the summary sent by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The NA and cabinet now stand dissolved. The last legal process was completed on Thursday following the issuance of formal notification. The president has accorded approval to dissolution of assembly under article 58 of the constitution. Following the dissolution of NA , Shehbaz Sharif will continue to perform his function as Prime Minister till the induction of care taker prime minister. Online
