Speaker NA expresses deep gratitude to all Pakistani Minorities

Islamabad: On the auspicious occasion of National Minorities Day observed each year on 11th August, Hon’ble Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf has paid rich tribute and expressed deep gratitude to all Pakistani Minorities for their commendable sacrifices and services for the beloved motherland. Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that Pakistan is fully committed to ensure provision of all rights to our brothers and sisters, as enshrined in the Constitution of Pakistan, particularly in Articles 36. He also added, “Pakistan is home to every citizen living within its boundary and it does not discriminate on the basis of caste, creed, colour and religion”, as emphasized by Quaid-e-Azam in his speech on 11th August, 1947, in which he said “We are starting in the days when there is no discrimination, no distinction between one community and another, no discrimination between one caste or creed and another. We are starting with this fundamental principle that we are all citizens and equal citizens of one State.”
On this National Minorities Day , he reaffirmed the national commitment to build a peaceful, progressive and all-inclusive Pakistan based on the fundamental Principles laid by the Founding Father, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad. Ali Jinnah.
