More than 46439 candidates would appear in the admission test for medical and dental colleges scheduled for September 10 at 43 centers locations in 11 major cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a press release issued by the Education Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) here on Thursday, that all preparations for the test have been finalized.
It said that special arrangements for security have been completed with the help of police and Rescue 1122 across the province.
The Executive Director of ETEA Muhammad Imtiaz Ayub said 46439 candidates will participate in the test scheduled to be held on September 10, adding that 43 centers have been established in 11 cities of the province.
He said that extensive preparations have been made for the transparent conduct of the test.
In view of the convenience of the candidates, all the test centers have been set up in air-conditioned halls so that the candidates can take the test with complete comfort and peace in this test which lasts for 3 hours and 30 minutes, he said and added that due to non-availability of air-conditioned halls in Bannu and Abbottabad, portable marquees have been imported from Lahore and installed in these cities.
He informed that for fool-proof security arrangements, the police department has formulated a security plan under which only the student will be allowed to enter the center with the roll number slip issued by ETA and any identity document.
One can enter the center by showing an ID card, form B, driving license or degree with a photo. Walk-through gates will be installed at the entrances of all centers while those entering the center will also be searched through metal detectors.
