Personal Assistant (PA) to the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Maaz Fida on Monday while terming the corruption allegation on social media against the Governor Haji Ghulam Ali and Mayor Peshawar Haji Zubair Ali as baseless, said that opponents, despite utilizing all their channels would fail to prove corruption of even a penny against both the personalities. Responding to some social media allegations, the PA to Governor said the Governor and Mayor Peshawar have offered unmatched services for their people and news circulated against them on social media were totally unfounded.
He said the Governor and Mayor Peshawar deserved appreciation for their selfless job and people-friendly attitude. The opponents were attempting to malign the position of the Governor and Mayor however, they answered the propaganda with their tireless services and positive behavior.
The Governor, he said, remains available for the people every time at his office and anyone who has some doubt could meet him at his office without any hesitation.
The PA to Governor said scores of uplift works were going on as street lights were being installed, needy women were being given sewing machines, faulty electricity transformers were being replaced, promotion of sports activities and encouragement of youth through cash prizes and sport kits were underway in the province. The Governor has pledged to do his best for the betterment of the province and its people.
The Governor and Mayor Peshawar spent most of their time in resolving the issues of the people, for which both deserved appreciation, the PA added.
