Frontier Corps North extends lifeline to needy families in Bara, Khyber district

Peshawar: Frontier Corps North is steadfast in its commitment to provide essential support to the underprivileged residents of the remote areas of Bara, Khyber District. As part of this ongoing initiative, the “Assistance at Doorstep” program has been launched, aimed at assisting widows and orphans in these communities. Under Phase I of this program, Frontier Corps North has distributed vital aid packages that include ration supplies along with a cash grant totaling Rs 10,000 to 10 widows and 10 orphans from the Sipah Tribe. This assistance was meticulously delivered directly to the homes of the beneficiaries, ensuring their dignity while respecting local customs and traditions. To ensure the inclusivity of the local community and to foster a collaborative effort, Frontier Corps North engaged with tribal Mashrans and local welfare organizations in compiling lists of widows and orphans in each area. This multi-pronged approach allowed for a more comprehensive and effective outreach.
