On the fourth day after Hamas launched an assault on Israel a rally in favor of Palestine was taken out here at Bab-e-Khyber, Jamrud on Tuesday.
Under the auspices of Fata Qaumi Jirga numbers of locals including tribal elders and political figures carrying banners inscribed with slogans, supporting Palestine people.
Addressing on the occasion head of Fata Qaumi Jirga, Malik Bismellah Khan, Said Kabeer Afridi, Haji Muhammad Ameen and others said that they support the cause of the Palestine people who rendered matchless sacrifices for it.
They condemned the bombardment of Israel on the residential blocks that killed hundreds of innocent Palestinian citizens including 65 children.
“Besides financial assistance we are ready to fight along with our Palestine brothers against usurped Israel forces to win freedom for them and to uphold honor of Al-Quds,” they opined.
They demanded the civilized world to stop Israel from bombarding residential buildings and schools that caused human casualties.
It is to be mentioned here that so far 900 Israelis and 770 Palatines have been killed in the war while 100 to 150 Israelis have been made hostage in the fight.
