Official Secret Act Court has issued written decision of its October 9 hearing of the matter of providing copies of challan to Chairman PTI and Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
It has been said in the decision the signatures will become ineffective even if the accused persons don’t sign the copies of challan because challan has been received.
The proceedings of making indictment as per law will be started on October 17.
Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain issued 4-page decision in respect of hearing held in Adiala jail.
The decision said the court directed to provide copies of challan to chairman PTI and Shah Mehmood Qureshi in court room.
Defence counsel Sher Afzal Marwat said the accused persons will not sign on the copies of challan. Chairman PTI too refused to sign copies of challan.
The issue of cell of chairman PTI and Shah Mehmood Qureshi was raised before the court.
Judge visited cell in Adiala jail to address the problems facing chairman PTI. Order was given to break the wall in front of cell.
According to Adiala jail superintendent much place has been given to chairman PTI for walking. Despite it chairman PTI gave application for expansion of cell.
