Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday vowed to fulfil the masses’ expectations.
The former prime minister held a meeting with the PML-N leaders in Lahore. On this occasion, the matter is in line with the preparations for welcoming PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif to the country on October 21.
Expressing his thoughts, Shehbaz Sharif said: “The PML-N will again take the country out of the quagmire. We will prove this again: everything can be fine.” He vowed that on October 21, the journey of fulfilling the promises will start.
The former prime minister commended the efforts of the PML-N leaders, saying, “The way the workers and leaders are working is appreciable.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting was PML-N Vice President Hamza Shehbaz.
Few days back, PML-N senior leader Musadik Malik vowed that his party will end poverty in the country.
Addressing the workers’ convention in Attock, Malik said, “We will welcome PML-N supremo with the great verve. It’s time to erase the darkest chapters of history.
“It is our responsibility to serve the people. If we commit mistakes, then we will be answerable to the masses,” Malik added.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Attaullah Tarar said on Saturday that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is returning to change the fate of the country.
Addressing the workers convention in Rawalpindi, Tarar said: “The atmosphere here in Rawalpindi is no less than the festival. The city has always belonged to Rawalpindi. Nawaz Sharif will return to the country within a few days.”
He recounted the tenure of Nawaz Sharif, saying, “The price of petrol was merely Rs100 per litre when Nawaz Sharif left the power.”
Tarar took a dig at the opponents, saying, “Those who used to make big claims are now escaping.”
