A delegation of Muttahida Mobile Association held a meeting with CCPO Peshawar Syed Ashfaq Anwar at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines Peshawar. The meeting which was attended by SSP Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi reviewed the overall steps taken for the establishment of law and order situation and prevention of street crime.
CCPO Peshawar on this occasion said that safety of business community was among the top priorities and all available resources to protect the life and property of the people associated with business in different commercial centers of the provincial capital.
During the purchase and sale of mobile phones, the SOP should be strictly reviewed to ensure the prevention the business of theft mobile phones in Peshawar, said Syed Ashfaq Anwar.
He also assured to launch a special mobile app as soon as possible to prevent the incidents of street crime and mobile theft, to ensure the collection of computerized identity cards as well as other necessary documents during the purchase and sale of mobile phones.
CCPO Peshawar Syed Ashfaq Anwar said during the meeting that the establishment of peace in the society, the protection of traders and people are among the top priorities of the police, for which the Peshawar police are using all their energies.
He further said that the business community is playing a very important role in the economy of the country, a peaceful environment is necessary for traders.
CCPO furthered that an effective strategy has been initiated against the anti-social elements and those involved in street crimes.
