30 outlaws including 12 professional beggars arrested

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 30 outlaws including 12 professional baggers from different areas of the city during the last 24 hours and recovered liquor, drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a public relations officer said. He said that, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city. Following these directions the Kohsar police team arrested an accused namely Shamroz Masih and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. Golra police team arrested an accused namely Awais involved in illegally selling petrol. The Sumbal police team arrested an accused namely Javed Afzal and recovered 1620 gram hashish from his possession. Likewise, the Tarnol police team arrested four accused namely Ahmed Sher, Wali Khan, Shahbaz and Ghulam Haider and recovered two 30 bore pistols, one 9mm pistol and one Kalashnikov from their possession. The Industrial Area police team arrested two accused namely Ali Raza and Ashfaq and recovered 537 gram hashish and 20 liters of alcohol from their possession. The Sabzi Mandi police team arrested an accused namely Sher Khan and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. Similarly, the Noon police team arrested an accused namely Wajahat Khan and recovered 1120 gram hashish from his possession. The Phulgran police team arrested two accused namely Tabarik Ali and Rizwan and recovered 15 liters of alcohol and 2 bottles of wine from their possession. DNA
