Free Medical Camp in Mera Abadi Organizes by Rotary

The Rotary Club Islamabad Metropolitan, in collaboration with Directorate Health, CDA, organized a free medical camp at Mera Abadi, F-12 sector Islamabad dated 27th Oct 2023.
The primary objectives of this medical camp were to provide medical care to the underprivileged community and ensure that children who had missed their polio vaccinations received them.
More than 500 patients received free check-ups, including 120 children, 220 women, and 50 men.
Additionally, 30 children vaccinated polio drops, and 20 children received routine immunizations.
The impressive efforts of EPI technicians and CDA staff played a vital role in making this health camp a resounding success.
Rotarian Ms. Tayyaba Gul, the Polio Chair of RCIM, and Rotarian Shabir Malik, the Public Image Chair of RCIM, actively participated in this health camp. On this occasion Rotarians extended their gratitude to DG Dr. Irshad, Director of Health Services at CDA Islamabad, and Muhammad Kamran, Mr. Hasnat from UNICEF and two female doctors, along with two vaccinators and one LHV, also contributed to the success of this initiative.
Community volunteers and residents expressed their appreciation to the Rotary Club Islamabad Metropolitan and Health Services CDA for organizing this health camp and requested that similar community well-being interventions be continued in the future.
