The federal government has decided to ban the entry of motorcycles in the high security zone of Islamabad.
The district administration and the police of the federal capital have developed a new strategy regarding the high security zone, from November 1, entry of motorcycles will be banned in the high security zone.
Sources said that under the new strategy, motorcycles will now be parked at the convention center and a shuttle service will be run from the convention center to enter the high security zone.
It has been learned from the sources that instructions have been issued to the police and the administration to implement the ban.
This decision has been taken to control the traffic rush in the high security zone, under which an alternative route can be used to come and go to Bari Imam.
It has been reported that the Capital Police has put the security on high alert in the federal capital, SP Security Islamabad also briefed the officers and officials on duty at the high security zone checkpoints.
He issued instructions to do alert duty and maintain law and order situation in view of the current situation.
Apart from this, a ban has been imposed on flying drones in Islamabad for 2 days.
An important security meeting was held under the chairmanship of IG Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, in which top police officers participated. In the meeting, it was decided to ban the flying of drones in the federal capital Islamabad.
In this regard, Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan said that drones will not be allowed to be flown in any ceremony, meeting or any entertainment place or on Margalla hills, legal action will be taken against the violators, security in the high security zone. Strict arrangements were made.
