Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) President Abdul Aleem Khan vowed on Friday to make the petrol available at half the current price. Addressing the public gathering in Hafizabad, Aleem Khan fired a broadside at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The corruption that the PTI-led government had done, nobody had done.
At the outset of his speech, he expressed his gratitude to the party workers and supporters for showing an overwhelming response on Friday. He took a swipe at the PTI, saying, “Someone should ask what the PTI had done for three and a half years. Who is responsible for the ballooning inflation? The PTI is responsible for the inflation”.
Recalling the prices of petroleum products, Aleem Khan said: ‘’In 2018, the price of petrol was Rs 95 per litre. Now the petrol is available at Rs290.” He underscored the importance of the potential of youth, saying, “The success of the country’s youth is directly linked to the country’s progress.” Aleem Khan resolved to form a new cardiology hospital in Hafizabad and ensure a clean supply of water.
