KARACHI
During the past one week, the Pakistani rupee was under pressure against the dollar in the interbank and local open currency markets.
According to the report of the Forex Association of Pakistan, during a week, the dollar became more expensive by 3.50 rupees against the rupee, which increased the value of the dollar from 281 rupees to 284.50 rupees.
Similarly, with the increase of 2.50 rupees, the value of the dollar increased from 282.50 rupees to 285 rupees in the open market.
According to the forex report, the euro became expensive by 7 rupees while the British pound became expensive by 11.50 rupees, after which the value of the euro increased from 300 rupees to 307 rupees and the British pound.
The value increased from Rs.343.50 to Rs.355.
According to the forex report, the value of the dollar remained stable in the open market on Saturday, while the euro rose by Rs.3 and the British pound by Rs.5.50.
