KFUEIT Hosts Int’l Workshop on Climate-Smart Agriculture Excellence Program

Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT) successfully organized an international workshop focused on mitigating the adverse impacts of environmental changes and promoting growth in the field of agriculture. The workshop, titled “Climate-Smart Agriculture Excellence Program,” was jointly organized by KFUEIT and the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The event brought together representatives from organizations collaborating with the German government, experts in agriculture, and professionals from the agricultural sector, students, and faculty members related to agriculture. In his welcoming address, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Shahzad Murtaza emphasized the collective responsibility of environmental conservation and the university’s commitment to playing its part in fulfilling the demands of the present era while contributing to environmental protection.
Professor Dr. Muhammad Shahzad Murtaza expressed gratitude to the German government and other collaborating organizations for their support in enhancing the agriculture sector. He highlighted the importance of the workshop in enhancing the capabilities of educators in the field of agriculture. He also emphasized the importance of working together to promote cooperation for mutual development.
During the event, Dr. Muhammad Sagir, Registrar of Khwaja Fareed University, along with heads of various departments and guests including Prof. Dr. Shakeel Ahmad, Dr. Muhammad Abid, Dr. Yasir Niaz, Dr. Adnan Noor Shah, Dr. Adnan Bodlah, Dr. Muhammad Ashraf, Dr. Ikhtyar Khoso, Dr. Muhammad Sultan, Dr. Muhammad Shoaib, and Dr. Muhammad Saifullah, as well as many other experts from diverse fields of life, attended the event.
The international workshop underscored the commitment of Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology to address the challenges posed by climate change to the agriculture sector and the collective efforts to find sustainable solutions.
