ISLAMABAD
IMF mission talks with FBR, Ministry of finance and state bank have been concluded at technical level.
The policy level talks of IMF with FBR, State bank and finance ministry will start from Monday. Sources said FBR satisfied IMF mission on tax revenue in technical level talks. IMF mission has not demanded for imposition of new taxes during technical level talks.
Sources added fall in revenue due to fall in import is being met through inland revenue taxes. Finance ministry can face harsh demand during policy level talks. New demands can be made from ministry of energy and ministry of petroleum.
According to schedule talks of economic team with IMF mission will be completed till November 15.
