Newly posted Deputy Commissioner, Khyber Capt (Retd)Sanaullah visited district head office, Rescue 1122,Jamrud last day.
Flanked by Additional DC Hamid Buneri, Assistant Commissioner, Jamrud Dr Muhammad Zeb, District Emergency Officer Syed Shoab Mansoor welcomed the district administrative officer and presented him a bouquet. A smart contingent of the Rescue 1122 workers presented a guard of honor and saluted him. Syed Shoab Mansoor briefed him of various equipment during his inspection of the emergency stall at the center. DC, Sanaullah inspected ambulances, vehicles and other facilities in the center. The visiting official lauded performance services of the volunteers of Rescue 1122 and expressed his satisfaction over the services the workers rendered for relief of laymen.
It is the core duty of the Rescue workers to facilitate the needy and provide on time relief to the natural and manmade disasters effectees he added and urged to utilize all their energies for the betterment of the tribesmen.
Earlier, DC, Khyber examined the 7/24 functional control room and witnessed call receiving and response procedures of the Rescue 1122.
