TEL AVIV
Israel began using delaying tactics in the implementation of the temporary ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Israel’s national security adviser has said that no prisoners will be released before Friday.
According to the Israeli authorities, the ceasefire will start from this Friday, and the attacks in Gaza will continue until the declaration of the ceasefire.
Earlier, the Israeli official said that the four-day temporary ceasefire will start from 1 pm on Thursday.
Under the temporary ceasefire agreement, 50 women and children held hostage by Hamas will be released in exchange for the release of 150 Palestinian women and children from Israel.
The agreement also includes humanitarian aid and fuel supplies to Gaza.
