ISLAMABAD: The results of the initiatives of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) are coming out. Under Green Pakistan, SIFC’s state-of-the-art corporate farm began harvesting the first crop. Due to the efforts of the government and military leadership, the country started to set the steps of development. Under the Green Pakistan Initiative, harvesting of corn has started in the farm established in Khanewal. This farm was inaugurated by the Army Chief and the Prime Minister in July this year in Peruwal under FONGROW. The first crop is ready in the farm and its harvesting process is going on. Modern machinery is being used in the harvesting process. The farm manager said that crops were cultivated on 1,077 hectares, 115 acres of harvesting has been completed in two days. This farm in Peruwal is the first modern corporate farm to provide produce under the Green Pakistan Initiative. Online
