After the failure of diplomatic efforts, Israel resumed brutal attacks On Gaza as soon as the seven-day temporary ceasefire with Hamas ended, as a result of which 32 Palestinians, including 2 children, were martyred.
A statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Health said that as soon as the cease-fire was extended, sirens sounded and Israeli air force jets turned towards Gaza and carried out a brutal bombardment, and northern Gaza was rocked by explosions.
Palestinian media said that the Israeli army has targeted a house in the northern Gaza area of Jabalia, while fierce clashes continue in different areas of Gaza.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that at least 32 Palestinian civilians including children were martyred by the bombing of Gaza by the Israeli Air Force.
According to the Palestinian media, the Israeli forces are bombarding the western area of Gaza. The Israeli army bombarded the eastern area of Khan Yunis and is also bombarding the western area of Gaza while Israeli spy planes are flying low over Gaza.
Foreign news agency reports shows that Israel accused Hamas of violating the cease-fire agreement and announced the resumption of attacks on Gaza.
Remember, a temporary ceasefire agreement was reached between Israel and Hamas in Gaza on November 24, mediated by Qatar and Egypt. During the one-week temporary ceasefire, Hamas released more than 100 prisoners while Israel released 240 Palestinians.
Since October 7, more than 15,000 Palestinians have been martyred in Israeli attacks on Gaza. The US has announced that it will continue its full support for Israel’s attacks on Gaza. On the other hand, Qatar has expressed its regret for the Israeli aggression immediately after the cease-fire in Gaza.
In a statement released by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it has expressed regret over the failure to reach a decision regarding the extension of the ceasefire in Gaza and the Israeli aggression on Gaza immediately after the ceasefire.
Qatari Foreign Ministry confirmed that talks are ongoing between the two sides to restore the ceasefire agreement, while Qatar also made it clear that it is committed to once again working with its mediators to take steps to end the war for humanity.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs further said that Qatar will not hesitate to join any process to stay in this situation.
Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized this time that the continuous bombardment in the first hour of the end of the ceasefire in Gaza will complicate the measures to restore the ceasefire and will further increase the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip. In all this situation, the international community should play an immediate role to stop the violence.
Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the State of Qatar condemns the killing of civilians in any form, the total impunity and the forced expulsion of people from Gaza.
Qatar has also called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and rapid delivery of humanitarian aid.
Meanwhile, in a statement from the Israeli Prime Minister’s office, it was said that Hamas has not released any more hostages as per the ceasefire agreement and Hamas has also fired rockets at Israel.
According to the Israeli media, a rocket was fired from Gaza on Friday morning, which was traced by the Israeli army, while sirens were also sounded in the area after the rocket attack.
Israeli military said in a statement on Friday that it had resumed military operations against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, while Israel also accused the resistance group of firing into Israeli territory in violation of the agreement.
They also said that Israeli planes are targeting Hamas in Gaza.
According to the foreign news agency, on the seventh day of the cease-fire, Hamas first released a 21-year-old girl and a 40-year-old woman with dual French citizenship, and then handed over 6 more Israelis, including 2 children and 4 women, to the Red Cross.
After the release of the Israeli hostages by Hamas, Israel also had to release 30 Palestinian prisoners, including 23 children and 7 women.
