Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Justice (retired) Syed Arshad Hussain paid a surprise visit to the Nowshera’s Qazi Hussain Ahmed Medical Complex and expressed his displeasure over the hospital poor sanitary condition, said a press release issued here on Saturday.
The Chief Minister went to different wards of the hospital and inspected various departments.
Caretaker CM gave a week deadline to the management of the hospital for improvement in the overall administration and sanitation system.
Syed Arshad Hussain met with patients and their attendants and got information about the treatment facilities in the hospital.
The Chief Minister directed the hospital administration to take steps to improve the treatment services and ensure quality medical facilities to the admitted patients.
He asserted that the provincial government would take all possible steps to ensure best quality of treatment in MTI hospitals, adding that negligence in provision of health facilities would not be tolerated.
