SRINAGAR
Body of an Indian paramilitary officer was found hanging from a tree at the place of deployment.
According to Indian media, the 31-year-old officer of the Central Reserve Police Force was residing in Jammu and Kashmir, but recently he was posted in a steel plant in the state of Odisha.
One day, a search was started for the officer after he did not appear on duty. His body was found hanging from a tree near the army barracks of the steel plant.
The fellow officers shifted the body to the hospital where the doctors where his death was confirmed and said that the suicide was committed 12 to 15 hours ago.
The official has been identified as Sahil Kumar. Indian police have not yet determined the reason for the suicide of the paramilitary force official. The dead body was sent to the native village after necessary procedures.
