RAWALPINDI: A businessman was brought to court for giving an old Sherwani for a wedding ceremony. District Consumer Court summoned the owner of the fashion house on January 2. The notice said that the affected citizen Muhammad Usman Shabbir ordered the preparation of a new Sherwani from the fashion house on September 8. The businessman Humayun Waheed asked to pay twenty thousand rupees for the preparation of the new Sherwani, fifteen thousand rupees was also paid as collateral. According to the notice, the owner of the fashion house handed over the old sherwani instead of the new one. Trader also violated Section 28 of the Punjab Consumer Protection Act 2005 by making false statements. Online
