Chairman PTI Barrister Gauhar Khan has said we don’t want delay in election at any cost and it has been our request that elections are held in transparent manner.
He said this while talking to media men outside Adiala Jail here Saturday.
He stated no lawyer of PTI appeared in Supreme Court (SC) yesterday. Presence of ROs for the sake of transparent election does not reflect transparent election.
PTI cannot be brought into dock, he remarked.
Our petition was this Returning officers be taken from judiciary, he added.
He claimed bid is being made to seek physical remand through bogus cases. This all is being done for political vengeance. Jail trial cannot be conducted.
He underlined such trials are violation of basic human rights.
