Tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq has announced to contest the election of the president of the federation.
According to the media, the current president of the Tennis Federation, Saleem Saifullah, has expressed his disinterest in becoming a candidate for the presidency next time.
The important meeting of the federation is scheduled tomorrow Sunday in which the plan of action regarding the new election will be decided. The Pakistan Tennis Federation has also contacted the Sports Board and the Pakistan Olympic Association for the elections.
The presence of representatives of Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) and Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) is essential for presidential elections.
Tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq also confirmed his interest in the presidency of PTF and said that if all stakeholders show confidence and fully support me, I will be happy to work for the betterment of tennis.
