Israel’s shelling and missile attacks on the Gaza Strip continue. 15 Palestinians were martyred as a result of a bomb attack on a house in Deir al-Balah area.
On the other hand, the Israeli army has started withdrawing thousands of its five brigades from Gaza.
According to a foreign news agency, 15 Palestinians have been martyred as a result of the Israeli bombardment of a house in Deir al-Balah area. Israeli attacks have also taken place on Khan Younis, Rafah and al-Maghazi camps, in which many Palestinians have been martyred and injured.
There have been clashes between the Israeli army and Palestinian groups in the West Bank city of Qalqilya. The Israeli army has prevented medical personnel from reaching injured Palestinians. They also fired at them to stop them.
Meanwhile, a video of a Palestinian youth being martyred during Sajdah has gone viral on social media.
Israeli media released a video of the young man being targeted by a drone. The young man was identified as Taysir Abu Tayima.
In the video, it can be seen that after targeting the Israeli soldiers, the young man is running in the streets of Gaza carrying weapons and the Israeli drone is chasing him. Suddenly there is a flame and the drone fires a missile at the young man which hits his back causing the young man’s shirt to bleed.
Despite being seriously injured, Taysir tried to run back to the shelter, but he could not leave it and he sat down at the door of a destroyed house. Then Taysir raised his index finger and prostrated before Allah. He runs and is martyred in this condition.
The martyred youth was the commander of Kataib al-Qassam of Hamas in Khan Younis area. Many videos of him reciting and reciting Nasheed have also surfaced on social media.
On the other hand, according to the American newspaper New York Times, the Israeli army said that thousands of soldiers are being temporarily withdrawn from the Gaza Strip. This is the largest announced withdrawal since the war with Hamas began.
Israeli army stated that the reason for this withdrawal was that the damage to the Israeli economy in the three-month-long war was continuously increasing and that there was no prospect of an end to the fighting.
Israeli army said in a statement that at least two brigades of reserve soldiers will be sent home this week, and three brigades will be withdrawn for scheduled training.
A brigade can have up to 4,000 soldiers. There is, and since the Israeli military has not yet disclosed how many troops it has deployed to Gaza, it is unclear how many troops will remain there after the withdrawal.
“This move will significantly reduce the economic burden on the country and we will be able to gather strength for activities in the new year,” the Israeli military said. After the attack by Hamas, they left their homes and fled to the borders.
The Toub Center for Social Policy Studies, a non-partisan think tank in Israel, also said the Israeli economy is expected to shrink by 2 percent this quarter, as many citizens leave their jobs and serve on reserve duty in the military or run businesses in their hometowns.
The Israeli government is constantly telling the public that this will be a long military campaign, but some critics are expressing doubts about the government’s claim that the goal of eliminating Hamas is feasible or not. .
Furthermore, Israel has so far failed to achieve its war goals of eliminating Hamas and freeing more than 100 of its prisoners. So far, 22,000 Palestinians have been killed and 60,000 injured in Israel’s brutal bombing of Gaza. 70 percent of the martyrs and injured are women and children.
