PESHAWAR: A consultative meeting has been called to extend the winter holidays in government and private educational institutions due to an increase in the cold and heavy fog that hit different districts of the entire Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In the meeting, 4 proposals towards school education will be considered with school holidays up to primary should be extended from January 9 to January 15, timing of school should be changed and the session of the day would be from 9.00 am in the morning to 2.00 pm. It has also been discussed that only those students who are scheduled to take the exams should be called to school for the 9th and 10th Annual Exams to be held in March while the winter vacation should be extended in all other classes.
