The Israeli army has claimed that it has completely destroyed the military structure of Hamas in northern Gaza and killed a total of 8,000 fighters, while Hamas has denied this claim.
On the other hand, 2 Al Jazeera journalists riding in a car were martyred in the Israeli bombardment, thus the number of journalists killed while performing their duties in Gaza since October 7 has reached 109.
According to media reports, Israeli forces spokesperson Daniel Hagari claimed to have destroyed the command structure of Hamas in northern Gaza and also to eliminate Hamas.
During the press conference, the spokesman of the Zionist army said that two important commanders of Hamas, Ismail Siraj and Ahad Wahbi, were involved in the air strike. According to Hagari, both commanders were involved in the attack on Israel on October 7.
The spokesman said that Israeli forces killed 8 thousand fighters in northern Gaza, now all the attention is focused on central and southern Gaza. The video of the clashes was released, scenes of fighting with the Israeli army can be seen in Tufah area of northern Gaza. Al-Qassam Brigades said that Daniel Hagari is making false statements to hide his shame.
On the other hand, according to the international news organization, one of the two journalists who were martyred in Gaza is Hamza, the son of Al Jazeera Bureau Chief Wail Al-Dahhouth, while the other journalist was identified as Mustafa Sawaya. It is said that the journalists’ car was deliberately targeted so that the atrocities of Israel could be hidden and the facts could not be revealed to the world.
Al Jazeera, a Qatari broadcaster, asked journalists’ unions, human rights organizations and lawyers around the world not only to condemn this grave crime by Israel, but also to demand the formation of a commission to find out the facts against this aggression.
It should be noted that the total number of journalists who were martyred in the Israeli offensive on Gaza since October 7 reached 109, while 21 journalists were arrested, 3 were missing and 16 were injured.
