PESHAWAR: Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party said his party has a clear roadmap of progress and stability and urged all institutions and stakeholders to be united under a single platform to steer the country out from the prevailing quagmire situation. Shah while responding to direct queries of the general public here on Monday emphasised flourishing democracy is crucial for the country. He held present and previous rulers responsible for pushing the country years back in all sectors. The party leader said economic and social injustices are escalating in each passing day while the country has caught up in a mess of problems owing to the inability of the rulers. Faiq said farmers, traders, industrialists, working class and poor people have become highly upset under the prevailing circumstances, and held these political elites and opportunist/cruel segments responsible for elevating miseries of afore-stated segments. The party leader said they wanted to free people and the system from this oppressiveness and cruelty. Our quest isn’t for gaining power but ATP is struggling for delegating powers and authority to ordinary people, aiming to make collective leadership and wisdom a source of country’s progress and people’s prosperity. We want to envoy a message of public authority and justice and a manifesto at every nook and corner of the country, enabling people to struggle for their rights and authorities. Shah went on to say that Pakistan’s economy is still at crossroads, stating economic experts clearly said political parties were lacking any economic revival agenda/plan. The ATP chief said there was no agenda with caretakers and selected people as they are all only greedy and hunger of power gain and slaves of personal interests, and give betrayal to people, He noted doors of justice were only opened for elites while the way of people’ progress and prosperity has been halted.
