LAHORE: PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has said we all had signed charter of democracy but PPP had not fulfilled its promises. “We had many problems with them. They were not delivering the promise of reinstatement of judges. We had to stage long march due to it. However judges were reinstated when long march reached Gujranwala. We ended our dharna immediately without any ransacking. Later we allowed PPP to complete its term, he said this while addressing PML-N manifesto launching ceremony here Saturday. He went on to say I had gone to Bannigala. But he demanded for road instead of upliftment of country. He held we pursued the politics of principles. This country would have made progress and had we been allowed to work uninterrupted. Till 2017, electricity, roti and dollar was inexpensive adding these people slid the country to inflation, poverty and unemployment within four years. I remained steadfast during this period, he stated. I asked Shehbaz not to take government. Online
