BADIN: On the orders of Supreme court of Pakistan,constituted water commission Head, Justice (Rtd)Ameer Hani Muslim visited Badin.He visited both banks of Kazia canal. Large number of citizens gathered there and presented their complaints before honourable water commission head. Citizens alleged that Badin administration was failure to supply and facilitate pure drinking water to the citizens causing thousands of citizens compelled to utilize contaminated water. They said illegal occupation and encroachment was not removed and huts and shelters of poor were demolished but influencials were benefited. Citizens complaint that employees of ultra filteration plants installed by public health department were not paid their salaries for four months and those plants were closed for many days. NNI
