Meanwhile, the UN Aid Coordination Office OCHA warned of a large-scale loss of civilian lives if Israel launches a ground invasion of Rafah, where about 1.4 million displaced people are sheltering after being ordered to the safe zone.
Israeli air strikes killed several civilians and injured dozens others in Homs in Syria today. According to media reports, Israeli warplanes fired missiles from north of Lebanese city of Tripoli, targeting several sites, including Syrian army outposts and Shayrat Airbase.
