Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Muhammad Ibrahim Khan visited District Courts Mardan

The Chief Justice, Peshawar High Court, Justice Muhammad Ibrahim Khan visited district courts and District Bar Room here on Wednesday, a press statement said.
According to the statement the senior officers of the district judiciary including the District & Sessions Judges and President & General Secretary of District Bar Association Mardan besides the Commissioner, Mardan Division, Regional Police Officer (RPO), Mardan, Division, and District Police Officer, Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent Engineer C&W, Executive District Health Officer, Mardan and other notables received him. A contingent of District Police presented a guard of honor to the Chief Justice.
The Chief Justice inaugurated the security control room at session’s courts, Mardan, inauguration dispensary (Health facility). He appreciated the Bar and the district health officer besides the district judiciary for establishing this facility which is crucial for the wellbeing of the litigants, lawyers, staff and judicial officers.
The chief justice also inaugurated the newly established ladies Bar Room. Speaking at the occasion chief justice said that women participation in the justice sector is applaud-able and encouraging. He praised the facility provided at the ladies Bar Room.
During his visit to the Bar room, Mohammad Zeb Khan, District & Sessions Judge and President DBA welcomed him and thanked the Chief Justice and Registrar for gracing the occasion. President District Bar Association Mardan presented the ‘sapasnama’. He highlighted the issues faced by the Bar. The Chief Justice appreciated the bar and the bench for arranging such a wonderful program.
He expressed his gratitude to the members of the press for their presence, the District Administration and police, in particular the Commissioner Mardan Division and the RPO, Mardan. Speaking at the occasion he expressed his conviction that District Judiciary Mardan by following the footsteps of Peshawar High Court.
Peshawar would leave no stone unturned to ensure justice is provided without fear or favour to all, as per law. At the end the Chief Justice had a brief meeting with the office bearers of staff Association. He assured the staff of all possible support. thereafter had a detailed meeting with District Judiciary Mardan. He highlighted his vision of accountability, being that we all are accountable to Allah in the first place and thereafter to any other. This concept of accountability is, he said, the driving force for ensuring justice.
