PESHAWAR
Deputy Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Suriya Bibi has directed officials of Telenor and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to utilize resources for restoration of services in Upper Chitral.
She was talking to officials of Telenor and PTA in her office on Tuesday. Zonal Director PTA, Amjad Mustafa, Managing Development Telenor, Abid Mana and other concerned officials are present in the meeting.
Deputy Speaker highlighted the pending work on service providing projects and said that people are faced with numerous problems due to suspension of Telenor services in Upper Chitral for the last several months.
She pointed that DSL line between Torkho has been damaged and the restoration work has not been started yet.
PTA officials told the deputy speaker that work on DSL line would start very soon and the service would be restored till June 2024. They said that work on flash fiber has been started that would upgrade status of service in Upper Chitral.
PTA officials said that consumers can register their complaints on Complaint Management Service that would be processed immediately.
