Protest against decision of EC case
ISLAMABAD
PTI founder Imran Khan, former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and former interior minister Sheikh Rashid have been acquitted in the case registered against them in police station Aabpara. The case registered against former Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and others in police station Aabpara for staging protest against the decision of Election Commission (EC) came up for hearing before Sessions Court Islamabad Wednesday. The court announced the reserved decision on acquittal plea.
Judicial magistrate Yasir Mehmood announced the reserved decision.
The court in its decision acquitted Imran Khan,, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and former interior minister Sheikh Rashid.
Former speaker National Assembly (NA) Asad Qaisar. Senator Faisal Javed Khan, Khurram Nawaz and Shehr Yar Afridi were also acquitted.
