Awami National Party (ANP) provincial president Mian Iftikhar Hussain on Tuesday condemned the suicide attack in Bannu Cantt expressing concerne over the exsiting security situation in the province.
The ANP leader extended his condolences to the families of the victims and stated the martyrdom of security personnel and civilians in the Bannu Cantt suicide attack is tragic and painful. “Our party has consistently stood against terrorism since day one. The recent surge in unrest and terrorism is a consequence of our failed foreign and domestic policies,”. ANP leader added.
Mian Iftikhar Hussain furthered that the people and security agencies are paying the price for these failed policies with their blood. It is essential to show seriousness in ending terrorism by eliminating the distinction between good and bad, he added.
ANP leadership also demanded full implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) in the country as the solution to end terrorism.
