Peshawar: The merged District Inter Academy Games will begin on 14th August at Hayatabad Sports Complex Peshawar, in which more than four hundred players from all districts and sub-divisions of tribal districts will participate in three different games. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur will officially inaugurate the Games along with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Adviser Fakhar Jahan, Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry,, Secretary Sports Matiullah Khan and other important personalities will be participate. These views were expressed by the Director of Sports merged district Raziullah Betni, while talking to the media. Various committees have been formed for these games. All the players reached on 13th august to peshawar and equipment with TA DA distribute among them.he said that Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, Sports Advisor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are included in the patterns. Raziullah said that three games football, cricket and badminton are included in the merged district inter-academy games, football at Tahamas Khan stadium, badminton and cricket competitions at Hayatabad Sports Complex and games will be held at Colonel Sher Khan and Islamia College grounds continued till 18th August.
He said that there is enough talent among the players of the merged districts, if these players are given opportunities and facilities, they can make the name of the country and the nation known all over the world. Sports and healthy activities will be promoted by organizing games for athletes of the districts.
