PESHAWAR: The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to provide free plots to the families of police, rescue and other provincial department’s employees who were martyred on duty. The decision was taken in a meeting of the Housing Department chaired by Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur. Special Assistant to Chief Minister Amjad Ali, Secretary Housing, Director General PHA and other senior officials attended the meeting. According to an official handout issued here on Monday from Chief Minister House, heirs of Pakistan Army and FC martyrs will also be eligible for plots.
The purpose of giving plots to heirs of martyrs is to provide economic support to the families. The statement said that the plots allotment will be started from 500 plots available in various government housing schemes.
Direct allotment of plots to families of martyrs will be ensured from available plots in housing schemes located in Hangu, Nowshera, Peshawar, Swat and Abbottabad. DLP Report
