HUB: The water level in Hub Dam has reached 339 feet which is only one foot short of filling, reported on Saturday. According to Irrigation Department, after 339 feet water level it will start to flow from the spillway. Due to rains in the catchment area, flood water entered the dam. In this regard the Irrigation Department has issued an alert for the Hub River. After discharge from the spillway, the water will be carried to the sea through the Hub River, Irrigation officials said. The Irrigation authorities warned the residents around the Hub River to avoid going into the Hub River. Residents around the Hub River should take precautionary measures as well, Irrigation officials advised. Water can be released from the spillway of hub dam at any time, Irrigation authorities alerted. News Agency
