Badminton girls summer training camp concluded at Abbottabad Sports Complex.At closing ceremony Commissioner Hazara Zaheer ul Islam distributed trophies and certificates among the players along with DSO Abbottabad Junaid Rehman, Secretary District Badminton Association. Muhammad Shakir Badminton Level One Coach Miss Bushra and other personalities were present.
On the special instructions of Commissioner Hazara, the girls summer training camp organized with the support of District Sports of Abbottabad ended yesterday.
Received training , theory, the players participating in the camp were informed about physical fitness and different skills, and matches were also conducted between them, in which Sapna won the first position while Halimah got the second position. In the U-11 final, Mahoor Afridi won the first position by defeating Bushra Kamran by 2 nil.
On this occasion, Female Badminton Coach Bushra of Directorate of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Badminton Secretary Muhammad Shakir thanked the Commissioner Hazara Zaheer ul Islam, with whose support, the successful organization of the camp provided opportunities for female players to learn, which is a welcome step.
The new talent will benefit a lot, he said that such camps should be established so that new players can emerge. Finally, the special guest Commissioner Hazara Zaheer ul Islam distributed prizes among the players participating in the camp.
