ISLAMABAD: The polio vaccination campaign has entered its fourth day, covering 115 districts across the country, according to the Ministry of National Health Services. By the end of the third day, nearly 17.3 million children have been successfully vaccinated against polio. Ayesha Raza Farooq, the Prime Minister’s Focal Person for Polio Eradication, emphasized that substantial measures are being implemented to eradicate the poliovirus. “Under the Prime Minister’s leadership, we are executing a comprehensive strategy to achieve polio eradication,” she stated. “In the coming months, 3 to 4 high-quality campaigns will play a crucial role in eradicating polio,” she emphasized, adding that rigorous efforts are ongoing to prevent the spread of the virus.
