Opposition Leader in the National Assembly and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member, Omar Ayub Khan, has strongly criticised the government’s proposed constitutional amendments, claiming that key figures like Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari are unaware of the draft. Speaking to the media in parliament on Thursday, Ayub said, “Maulana Fazlur Rehman has made it clear that the draft is unacceptable, and even Tarar and Bilawal have no knowledge of it.
The role of government officials and their allies in the special committee has been negative.”
