TAKHT BHAI: The trader community agreed to demolish and remove encroachments voluntarily from Malakand Road after successful negotiation between the Mayor Hafiz Muhammad Saeed and Assistant Commissioner Junaid Khalid. According to Hafiz Saeed, the district administration had announced an operation to remove all encroachments from Jhandai to Shergarh along the Malakand Road. However, the operation was postponed after negotiation between tehsil administration and local body representatives. Mayor Takht Bhai in a statement stated that the administration did not intend to leave anyone jobless or harm businesses, but the encroachments on the road were causing congestion and severe difficulties for traffic and pedestrians. He assured that he will always defend the people of the area and work to find solutions to problems like encroachments through mutual consent. Our Correspondent
