PESHAWAR
A memorandum of understanding was signed between Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Greenstar General Hospital Peshawar for provision of best healthcare facilities at subsidized rates to the business community.
The MoU aims to provide better healthcare facilities to members, staff and industrial workers at subsidized rates.
SCCI president Fazal Moqeem Khan and Head of Strategic Programs and Operations, GGH Peshawar Dr Sanam Gul signed the agreement during a ceremony held here at the chamber house on Monday.
GGH Peshawar Assistant Manager Muhammad Sarmad, Secretary General of the chamber Muqtasid Ahsan, officials of the private hospital and others were present on the occasion.
Fazal Moqeem while speaking on the occasion termed the agreement a milestone and important step toward provision of best healthcare facilities at subsidized rates.
He said SCCI is taking proactive steps for provision of better facilities and services to its members and signing of MoU is a part of this effort.
According to the agreement, Moqeem said members will avail 50 percent discount on various health services by GGH Peshawar.
He furthermore said the SCCI will provide support in arranging medical camps with GGH Peshawar.
He added that the chamber is collaborating with various government and private institutions and organizations for the provision of best facilities to its members.
Moqeem vowed no stone will remain unturned to provide best facilities in multiple sectors and resolution of issues of the business community.
He promised they will provide facilities to members at their doorstep.
Earlier, officials from GGH Peshawar apprised the meeting about salient features of the memorandum of understanding and joint collaboration and initiatives in future.
